Effective October 22, 2026
We designed this test to work without collecting your answers on a server. Here is what happens when you use it.
Who runs this website
This policy applies to 12 Axes at 12axes.lashreel.com, maintained through the atsince/12axes project. It covers this independent website, not other political test websites with similar names.
Your test answers and results
We do not ask for your name, email, age, location, account, or payment details. Answers, progress, and your most recent result are saved in your browser’s local storage. They are not submitted to us, added to a mailing list, used for advertising, or sold. Starting a new test replaces your saved progress; completing it replaces your previous saved result.
Anyone with access to your browser profile may be able to see your saved test. On a shared device, clear your local data when finished. Private browsing or browser settings may prevent saving, and browser cleanup may remove your data.
Optional sharing and downloads
If you choose “Copy result link,” the URL fragment (the part after #) contains the twelve numerical scores and test length. It does not contain individual answers. URL fragments are not included in the HTTP request to our hosting provider. Anyone who receives or can access the complete link can read the scores. We do not create a server-side result record.
A shared link has no expiry or revocation mechanism. Clearing this browser does not invalidate links or erase someone else’s copy. The link can remain in browser history, clipboard history, messages, or synced devices. Share only if you are comfortable with that. Downloads and printouts are under your control.
Hosting and technical requests
Cloudflare hosts this website and receives ordinary network information needed to serve and secure it, such as your IP address, requested path, browser headers, and request time. This may be processed in different countries under Cloudflare’s own practices. We do not send test answers or results to Cloudflare through an application API. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its infrastructure practices.
Cookies, analytics, and third parties
The application sets no cookies and uses no advertising, analytics, fingerprinting, or third-party font scripts. It uses local storage only for the test features described here. Cloudflare may apply infrastructure security mechanisms. External links, including GitHub, are governed by the destination’s policies after you open them.
Retention and your choices
Local test information has no automatic expiry. It remains until you clear it, start or finish a replacement test, or your browser removes it. Use “Clear my local data” in the footer to remove this website’s saved answers and result. You can also clear site storage in your browser settings. We cannot retrieve or restore that information from a server.
Privacy rights and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information, or to complain to your local supervisory authority. Because test data stays on your device, you control its deletion there. For questions about this website, contact the maintainer through the project issue page. Issues are public; do not include sensitive information. Questions about Cloudflare’s processing can also be directed to Cloudflare through its policy.
Policy changes
If the service’s practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. We will describe material changes here. No analytics or advertising service is enabled by this policy.
